Application

To provide separable waterproof connections between non-screened primary cable and an isolating transformer.
To make a waterproof separable splice in non-screened primary supply cable.

Type

Model 54 with non locking – 5kV (or less), non-screened (unshielded) cable.

Description

Each kit contains a plug housing, a receptacle housing and crimp applied electrical pin and socket contacts.
These kits are directly interchangeable with kits having a locking feature and mate with the moulded-on primary connectors of an isolating transformer.
The use of these connectors provides a test point at every isolating transformer.
One kit is required for each splice or transformer installation.
